![]() I would love to hear why he doesn't have the card signed. There may be a very good reason Brian Curry does not have the biz card signed in his performance.but that is exactly what I'm talking about. I already perform an "out to lunch" routine with my biz cards in which the spectator signs my card. This is the biggest convincer in the original us makes it more personal. The last thing.I can't believe that this routine wasn't worked out to be signed by the spectator. But I'm talking about performing this for real people with out being busted. Don't get me wrong, the principal is simple, and you can get the thing operational. I believe that someone new to this will have a more difficult time perfecting this routine as explained. I'll figure it out eventually.but I'm experienced with this type of effect. I constructed this gimmick, and there are some minor problems I need to work out. He probably should have pointed you to the resources and spent more time on the construction, trouble shooting and more close ups. He flies through the explanation.and spends time on how to order business cards on line, taking you through different screens on the computer.which I'm sure will be useless to people with even moderate computer skills. That being said. The Business Card Rise is already a great trick based on the original versions. I already perform a version Of Ron Jaxon's Visual Card Rise.repeat audiences often request this trick. The proof is that just about every magician performs Cardiographic by Martin Lewis in their stand up show. The reactions this type of effect gets is always incredible. This is what I wrote about this DVD in the card section: I can't imagine a worker overlooking this effect, unless he performs Cardiographic and doesn't want to perform simliar effects for the same audience (for example, I wouldn't use Brian's version in a strolling set before performing Cardiographic in a stand up show for the same crowd). There are a number of points that Brian makes on the DVD that clearly came from experience performing it in the real world. On the DVD, Brian even gives advice about "when" to perform the effect in your set to increase the chance that it will get you more work. This effect is practical, magical, and a great way to give out your business card. The poster used the term "original" to mean the "first" way that Brian performed the effect before putting it on DVD. I believe that you're misunderstanding the way that the poster was using the term "original." Nobody, including Brian, claims that he came up with the "original" Cardiographic idea. ".it is a VERSION of cardiographic and not original material.ease up on the term 'original'." ![]() If anyone has faced and solved this issue, feel free to PM me with any suggestions. I am thinking about just getting 250 at a time since that many gaffs will last me a while. That will probably up the cost considerably. So with that, I need to see how much my print shop will charge me to print the gaff on the back. Plus I use the art work on my letterhead. They are very professional and I looked forever to find the art work and I have never seen it on any other card. My card had thermographic printing on the front, it has no blank space, white or otherwise and I have absolutely no intention of changing my business card for any effect. My biggest question yet is how to adapt it to my business card. I think it will look fine close up and I have no problem with the action required to hand out the card. I have glanced at the DVD, but cannot give an honest review yet.
